Hope

What is hope?
All of us have been hearing the word 'hope' since a long time. The word as defined by the dictionary means, a feeling that something wanted may happen or something wished for.

Growing up, we've heard sentences such as- " Have hope." or "Hope is all you need." or "Have hope and you'll have everything else." But how does it work?

Try this:-
Sit down and close your eyes for a minute. Try to think about the last time when you felt you were all alone things were going terribly wrong and you had no idea what to do next. Now, try to think of situation or an event that was completely in contrast to this.

After thinking about the happy and better incident, you may have this warm feeling inside. That is Hope.
We use hope so very often that we don't always realise it when we're using it.

Some examples are trying to cook a recipe again and again until it's perfect, practising the same dance or song multiple times until we're satisfied it's good enough and the list is endless! One of the best examples of this is the current lockdown. Even though such a disastrous pandemic hit us, we never really stopped going about our day, did we? We continued doing the same things we did everyday while holding on to a teeny, tiny ray of hope that, one day, things will go back to normal. And, now as the world is resuming, it's wonderful to see people going to work, companies starting, shops and restaurants opening, malls restarting, etc. All of this happened only because we clung onto that little ray of hope. One teeny, tiny ray of hope which made all the difference in the whole world.

So, the next time you feel things are not going your way or you feel like giving up, take a breath and be patient enough, don't lose hope and keep moving forward as you never know when you'll discover that one thing which will fill you with happiness. More happiness than you could have ever dreamt of!

Here's a poem I wrote. I hope it tells you what you need to hear and fills you with hope for the coming days.
              The Rainbow of Hope

When there's darkness all round you,
When there's sadness inside you,
When sunny days are a few,
When you are about to give up hope
When you are about to reach the top
But breaks the rope
When disasters have fallen upon you
And loved ones are but a few,

Just remember:-
A rainbow is right around the corner.
Red will give you love,
Orange will shine above,
Yellow will give you light,
Green will help you fight,
Blue will help you create a good life
Indigo will end all sorrow and strife
Violet will bring peace to you,
And happiness will surely follow through!

Light will find its way out.
Joy will end all your doubts,
Rainy days will disappear
Rays of hope with sparkle round the year!
So you will conquer the top,
And you will shine like a star non-stop!
Disasters will be at bay,
And loved ones will be there to stay
You need to have a little bit of hope,
And multiple rainbows will straighten all slopes!
Achieve all this you will endure some pain;
Always remember:-
The Rainbow comes only after the Rain.

Well, that's it for today. Hope you guys liked the poem. Let me know in the comment section.
Bye! Take care.
