Perfectly Imperfect
Hello, my wonderful readers and welcome back! Today, we're gonna talk about mankind's never ending obsession with perfection. Tell me, when was the last time you looked at yourself in the mirror and saw something wrong. An hour ago, maybe? And your entire day was probably ruined because of that one flaw, maybe the t-shirt didn't look nice or your hair looked ridiculous or you felt as if you had gained weight. And, in the worst case scenario, you saw someone pretty online and then when you say yourself, you didn't like it. But where do all of these ridiculous comparisons and at time, self-hatred come from? My best guess: that's what we're told ever since we're born. That you always have to be the best and if you can't be that, all of society is gonna do whatever they can to change you and make you one of those perfect people who always have the best looks, the best wardrobe, the best grades, the best literally everything.
